Our platform · In development

Simple to start. Ready to grow.

You shouldn’t need to be a technology expert to stay meaningfully informed about home. We’re developing Kinvalis to start with what matters to you today, grow when a real need comes up, and bring it all together into updates you can understand at a glance.

It’s a modular platform built around a hub in your home. This page describes the experience we’re working toward. None of it is available yet.

Illustrative concept

Two small things for later. The plant could use some water, and the water bowl looks lower than usual.
A hub brings together what a few compatible devices notice (by the front door, under a water bowl and in a plant pot) and turns it into one calm update. An idea, not a product design.

Getting started

A straightforward setup.

Getting started should feel calm and guided: a few clear steps in plain language, not a list of technical settings.

  1. 01

    Set up the hub.

Set up a Kinvalis hub in your home and follow guided steps to get it ready.

  2. 02

    Add a compatible device.

Choose one for something that matters to you, such as the front door, a pet’s water bowl or a favourite plant.

  3. 03

    Begin seeing useful information.

As the hub gets to know your home’s rhythm, short updates in plain language take the place of raw readings.

One place

One platform, different needs.

A plant, a pet’s water bowl and the rhythm of a morning are very different things. We don’t think they should need three different apps.

Our aim is for information from compatible devices to come together in one place and read the same way: calm, consistent updates, whatever they’re about.

Understanding, not noise

From little details to a useful update.

On their own, single observations say very little. We’re working on bringing the relevant ones together, comparing them with familiar patterns, and telling you what they likely mean, with honest uncertainty when the picture isn’t clear.

What the hub might notice

  • The front door opened
  • The kettle went on
  • The water bowl was visited
  • Compared with recent mornings

What you might see

  • When the picture is clearIllustrative concept
A familiar start to the morning.Today’s available activity looks similar to recent mornings.

Would need enough history and suitable devices. It describes a likely pattern, never proof of anyone’s health or safety.

  • When information is missingIllustrative concept
We can’t say much about this morning yet.The kitchen device hasn’t reported since last night.

Saying clearly when something is missing matters as much as the update itself.

Modular by design

Add what you need, when you need it.

Start with one thing that matters to you. If your needs change, you’d be able to add another compatible device later, without starting over.

Compatible is the important word: Kinvalis won’t work with every device out there. We’ll be clear about which ones it supports once that’s decided.

  • Start with one need.

Begin with whatever is on your mind most, whether that’s a daily routine, a pet or a plant.

  • Grow when it’s useful.

Add another compatible device when a real need comes up, not because a bundle says so.

  • Keep it all in one place.

New devices are meant to join the same hub and the same calm updates, so there should be little new to learn.

Privacy by default

A privacy-minded foundation.

Our intended design keeps your everyday home activity history on your own hub by default, rather than collecting it continuously on Kinvalis servers.

Some features may one day need more, such as an optional backup or more complex analysis. If so, we want you to decide, with a clear explanation first.

What we’re designing for

  • History on your own hubEveryday home activity is meant to stay on the hub in your home by default.
  • Extras you chooseServices such as a backup or more complex analysis would be something you choose to turn on.
  • Explained firstIf anything would leave your home, we want to tell you what, why and where beforehand.

How we think about privacy & ownership

Honest status

Where the platform stands today.

Kinvalis is at an early stage: we’re shaping ideas, learning about real everyday needs and working toward a first useful experience. Nothing is available yet. Here’s what we’re focused on, what is still open, and what Kinvalis isn’t meant to be.

  • What we’re working on

    • Shaping how a home hub and guided setup should feel
    • Deciding which first devices would be most useful
    • Calm, clear updates, including when information is missing
  • Still to be decided

    • The final hardware, design and device list
    • Prices and availability
    • Which features, if any, would use optional online services
  • What it isn’t

    • Not intended as a medical device or an emergency service
    • Not proof that someone is safe or well
    • Not a replacement for being there in person
